Choosing wedding flowers for every budget

Decide what matters most before asking for a detailed floral quote.

Start with the moments

List the ceremony, entrance, stage, tables and bridal accessories. Mark which are essential and which are optional. This gives your florist a clear way to prioritise the budget.

Describe the space

Send photographs and approximate dimensions. A reference image without scale can be misleading: a small arrangement photographed closely may look like a full backdrop.

Ask for an itemised scope

Discuss flower choices, quantities, structures, installation, removal, transport and venue access. Ask which of these are included in the quote so the total is meaningful.

Keep room for alternatives

If a particular flower is difficult to source for your date, discuss a similar colour or shape. Confirm any change before the final design is agreed. Avoid assuming that a reference can be copied exactly.
