Start with the arrangement
Check the instructions supplied with your flowers. A wrapped bouquet, a vase arrangement and flowers in floral foam need different handling. Ask how your particular arrangement should be watered.
Make space for a daily check
Look at the water level and the condition of the flowers each day. For a vase bouquet, remove leaves that would sit below the waterline, keep the vase clean and replace cloudy water. Use supplied flower food according to its directions.
Choose the position carefully
Keep the arrangement away from direct sun, heaters and strong draughts. Avoid crushing petals against a wall or window. Different varieties last for different lengths of time, so remove faded stems as needed rather than expecting every flower to age together.
Ask about the flowers you chose
There is no single number of days we can promise for every arrangement. Variety, freshness, transport and the room all matter. When ordering, mention whether you need flowers for one event or to enjoy over several days.
